TLC to perform their first set in the USA in seven years

TLC, the top-selling female girl group are scheduled to perform alongside other top artist when they take to the stage in Vegas on 17th October 2009.

They are part of the lineup for Justin Timberlake’s chartiy concert at the Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Earlier this year TLC performed a concert in Japan and T-Boz confirmed in a radio interview that a new TLC project is in the works.

That leaves me with some requests:

  1. Please don’t postpone this project like you did with your solo projects
  2. Be better prepared for this gig than the BET Honors Girl Groups performance in 2008
  3. COME FOR A GIG IN EUROPE!!!

Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams”

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

Check out Beyonce’s new video.
What I like about it is, that it’s much more like Bday rather than I Am…Sasha Fierce. That’s probably down to the fact that this song leaked half way between Bday and I Am…Sasha Fierce.
I am glad Beyonce decided to make this a single.

What do you think of the video? Is it too reminiscent of Single Ladies or Green Light?

O’So Krispie releases video while Left Eye launches new album

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

O’So Krispie, the girl that won the US reality TV show “R U the girl“, featuring on TLC’s song “I bet“, has just released her first official single on iTunes: Slumber Party

Get a full quality version of the song here.

Her album will come out in Autumn of 2008. Do you find it in bad taste that MassAppeal Entertainment is set to launch a posthumous album of Left Eye, the ‘L’ in TLC, who died in a tragic accident in 2002, at the same time? O’So Krispie is the very girl that replaced Left Eye on the show and was concidered too similar to the initial line-up of TLC. Should O’So Krispie delay her album launch in respect of Left Eye’s, whose album proceeds are rumoured to go towards her charity “The Lisa Lopes Foundation“?

Look at the video and check out Left Eye’s new website for more information

VIDEO: Usher “Moving Mountains”

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

How do you like the new video of Usher? I personally find that “Moving Mountains” isn’t a as good of a song as “Love in this club“, but it is still a fair attempt.

Usher is rumored to have filed for separation from his wife Tameka Raymond. If true, he leaves her after just a few month with a baby recently born.

His album  Here I stand is due out on the 27th May.

Stay tuned for more info…

Nas gives in to pressure

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

NasRapper Nas has given in to public pressure and will change his new album’s title from the initially decided “N*gger”

It is clear, that it wasn’t his decision but his record label’s. Reuters reports that Nas commented,

It’s important to me that this album gets to the fans. The people will always know what the real title of this album is and what to call it.

I find it appalling, that while Nas wanted to make a political statement, in response to Don Imus’ comments toward the Rutgers women’s basketball team, he is now pressured to change the title.

The project that hasn’t been named as of yet is due to be released on 1st July. Listen to some of the songs after the click.

Looking for a Pussycat Doll / Where is number 6?

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

The Pussycat Dolls performed their first single “When I grow up” on Jimmy Kemmel last night.

It’s funny, because from the very beginning I was like, “well, there’s only 5 of them – isn’t there suppose to be 7?”

We all know that the “Next Pussycat Doll” opted out of joining the band after the show with the same name. But who else is missing – I can’t really tell, isn’t that sad. It’s so irrelevant to this band. Makes me slightly sad. It seems like Nicole gets all the attention. In other bands you might have a hierarchy, but when the shit hits the fan you’ll know who left.

So. Your task, spot the missing PCD.
