As I mentioned yesterday, it was Janet Jackson 42nd birthday on Friday and she hit the town with long time boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. To celebrate this special event, Jermaine took her to Japanese Eatery Katsuya in Hollywood.

Now, I am ashamed to say this, because I love Janet. But she reminds me of a pug dog. This seriously is plastic surgery gone too far. Her nose is so tiny – almost non-existing and her face seems flat yet balloony.

At least it seems she enjoyed her birthday, because staff had to help the pair load the presents (which included a Nintendo Wii Games console) into their van.

Janet Jackson announced that she would go on a worldwide tour this year. She spoke to billboard.com and confirmed Europe as a location for dates. 

“We’re talking about America first,” Jackson tells Billboard.com, “but I think we’re going all over. I think I’m going to go back to Australia, back to Africa, obviously go to Asia, go to Europe for sure.” 

The last time she performed a full set in Europe was for her Velvet Rope tour in 1998. Can you believe it? It’s been a decade, after she cancelled the European leg of her All for You tour 2001 after the events of 9/11

I am sure she’ll have a lot of work to do ’til then, since she also confirmed the release of a book. It is not clear what this is going to be. For now though, let’s leave her alone and wish her a very
