Le Désert de Retz is a place, where Beth Dow would have gone to. Maybe she wouldn't have taken pictures of the pyramide, but she would have certainly liked the tower. I think from what I can tell from the photos I have seen, Le Désert de Retz is a very striking example of human interference with nature.
